Founded in Windsor, Ontario in 1938, the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron is a volunteer organization devoted to providing safe boating education. This year the organization celebrates 75 years with special anniversary flags travelling across Canada. On September 24th, a flag travelled through Sechelt and Madeira Park to the Earl’s Cove ferry terminal to be handed over to Vancouver Island North district Commander Peter Bolton. The flag then continued its journey to Powell River and Vancouver Island.
